Inventory Analyst (Data Analyst / Supply Chain)
Leading online retailer (Fasttrack 10) with head office in Stockport is seeking a skilled inventory data analyst to join their team.

We are looking for someone strong numerically with advanced Excel skills, able to make changes to advanced spreadsheets and use tools such as pivot tables, vlookups etc to lead decision making. Commercial experience using ERP/WMS and CRM systems would be a strong advantage.
Working as part of the growing Purchasing & Supply Chain team, this is a data led role where your responsibilities will include:
- Purchase the companies stock requirements for your category, following company guidelines and the category plan.
- Introduce new products for your category effectively and speedily, managing the end-to-end product launch.
- Stay up to date on the latest end user promotions and manage their deployment on the companies website.
- Monitor the data quality of supplier/vendor price feeds and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate with the local warehouse, internal stakeholders and 3PL regarding deliveries, stock movements and changes by your suppliers that impact them.
- Attend meetings with your suppliers and play an active role in meetings.
- Ensure that your product portfolio is available to buy on the website and presented effectively.
- Produce routine and ad-hoc reports on spend and profitability.
- Make recommendations to the purchasing lead on how to improve stock availability, category profitability and resource efficiency.
- Perform additional duties peripheral to purchasing such as: arranging freight, ordering artwork or ordering website content.
