Description

Job location : Worcester

Working for Cargill’s European poultry business, which is a leading supplier of food products to retail, foods service and food manufacturing customers, in both European and global markets. The role will be situated at our newly opening Worcester offices.

The position holder will be responsible for the managing and reconciling of all company inventory across all locations and distribution centers, handling all stock transactions in SAP. The role will work across the whole business supply chain and with contacts across both internal and external stakeholders. The position holder will also assist with inbound supply chain tasks and provide occasional support to the customer services team.

Main Tasks:

  • Stock reconciliations for all our business’s external cold stores across the UK and European Union

  • Reconciling stock to batch level and working through variances with the supply chain team

  • Reviewing ageing, out of life and issue stock

  • Running monthly stock reports and analyzing data

  • Validating storage, transport and broker invoices from service providers

  • Pallet reconciliation

  • Customer stock reconciliations and updates for Cargill commercial teams

  • Creation of outbounds from Post Goods Issue (PGI) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for sales orders raised in SAP by the customer service team

  • Financial invoice payments and backup, assisting with the buy-back process from 3rd party and Shell companies clearances

  • Filing for supply chain and license administration teams

Qualifications:

  • Educated to A’ level or equivalent - essential

  • Previous experience of working in a stock administration role - essential

  • Effective in, and passionate about, administrative tasks - essential

  • Fast learner, who is inquisitive and results focussed - essential

  • Attention to detail, numerate and analytical - essential

  • Highly motivated and able to work to tight deadlines, under pressure, whilst ensuring daily tasks are completed on time - essential

  • Intermediate/advanced excel - essential

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - essential

  • SAP or SAP based systems knowledge - desirable
