KS2 Intervention Teacher to focus on small group work

Gain Education are currently working with a vibrant Primary School based in Eltham who are looking for an experienced KS2 intervention teacher to start from April 2021 on a long-term basis.

This could be a full-time or part-time role depending on your requirements and experience.

The school are looking for an experienced intervention teacher who wants to instil confidence into their pupils to set them up for the future. The ideal KS2 intervention teacher will be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents as this is crucial for the pupil's development. The role involves working across Year 6 with small groups of children.

Gain Education are looking for a teacher who can really hit the ground running in supporting students in their final year of Primary School, predominantly focussing on English and Maths.

The school require an experienced Year 6 intervention teacher who has excellent behaviour management skills, is able to take direction and be an overall great role model for the pupils. You will need to be adaptable to work across the year 6 classes and be confident in your teaching approach.

We are looking for the following:

  • Experience in KS2 classes
  • Experience in teaching Year 5 or Year 6
  • A professional and flexible attitude
  • A desire to become part of a committed team
  • Strong behaviour management
