Intervention Teacher with SEND experience

JBD Recruitment are excited to be actively hiring a dynamic and versatile Intervention Teacher to join a professional team within a large primary school based near Birmingham City Centre (with great transport links!) which has also been rated Good by Ofsted.

You will be working alongside a class teacher and teaching assistant in the class and your role will be to work with smaller groups in the class of 30 children. There will be some element of planning and marking but you will not have full responsibility of this meaning that there is much less planning. There will be times, when you will be required to teach the whole class, but generally it allows you to teach in smaller groups.

Skills and experience required for our Primary Intervention Teacher teaching job:
•You must have QTS however these positions are also open to NQT’s.
•An enthusiastic, well-motivated and talented classroom practitioner
•An ability to inspire children, staff and parents alike
•Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
•A friendly caring nature
•The capacity to identify and target specific, individual needs
•Keen to learn and develop professionally
•Can create an environment that nurtures and stimulates positive attitudes, independence and an innovative approach to facilitating learning and teaching
•Great behaviour management skills
