As the result of ambitious growth plans, the group now seeks an International Tax Compliance Lead to focus on ensuring compliance for international law in existing and new territories. Reporting to General Counsel, your brief includes:

•Acting as a key Tax & Product Compliance representative at meetings, summits & conferences
•Driving the delivery of compliance projects to ensure compliance gaps are resolved & key compliance projects are completed
•Proactively researching & maintaining indirect tax knowledge & providing relevant updates
•Supporting new country projects & product teams on tax updates & e-invoicing mandates
•Updating General Counsel on VAT accreditation & adherence to monthly & project budgets
•Assisting with end-to-end review of compliance function operations
•Supporting the promotion of compliance as a centre of excellence
•Reporting on & management of compliance issues & risk

As a 2:1/1st class graduate, ideally an LLB, you will become a Subject Matter Expert in global indirect tax legislation with a proven track record of internal and external stakeholder engagement, strong influencing ability and outstanding presentation skills. The role demands an eye for detail, a proactive approach and the ability to manage an ongoing project portfolio. This position would be an ideal role for someone making a step out of Tax Advisory from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm. Ref: BHJOB3543_4962 d
