Our client have been manufacturing and supplying high-quality nutritional supplements since 1980 and has become one of the UK's favourite brand of vitamins, supplements and herbal products. Manufactured in their own purpose built factory in the UK with new product development and continual product evolution being key to their success.

Due to continuous growth the now seek an;

Internationl Sales Manager

The role

  • Manage existing accounts
  • Recruit new distributors to distribute our brand
  • Build relationships with key existing distributors and increase sales by visiting them regularly
  • Implement agreed marketing plans for growth and broadening the range of their products in those existing accounts
  • Follow up on qualified leads received via the company website and through attending exhibitions both in the UK and internationally
  • Research and identify international markets to either further develop if existing relationship is there or penetrate from scratch
  • Carry out market visits to key prospective territories (international travel)
  • Contact new potential customers i.e. distributors, wholesalers, large pharmacy chains, independants with a view to selling company products

Candidate requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the retail sector / FMCG Health industry
  • Experience in export business ideally understanding the specific requirements of various markets and Ministry of Health regulations
  • New business orientated as well able to manage existing accounts
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to travel internationally on a fairly regular basis
  • OTC experience would be advantageous
