International Sales Executive, Chelmsford, £24,000 to £26,000 Basic (Guaranteed to £30,000 in Year One), Year Two OTE £36,000 OTE (totally uncapped). This is a very varied export sales role for a manufacturer of technical products sold through agents and distributors.

This is an interesting and diversetechnicalExportSales role managing distributors across the globe with a major focus on the USA, SouthAfrica and Australasia. The firm are a niche market leader and are growing exponentially so there is huge scope for career progression. The vacancy is due to expansion and the individual that is your line manager has been twice promoted from this role in the last three years.

The role is supporting overseas agents and distributors, including two major accounts, providing answers to enquiries, supplying product literature, helping them put together trade exhibitions, undertaking joint-marketing campaigns, supporting product launches and so forth.

To apply:

+ You will have business to business sales experience

+ The ideal candidate will have some international sales exposure and experience of managing overseas agents or distributors.

+ Ideally you will have some interest in mechanical engineering, i.e. someone that enjoys restoring cars or tinkering with machines as a hobby.

The company are a well-established manufacturer of engineered products with around 80% of their business being international. Renowned for developing their staff, they enjoy low levels of staff attrition and have a brilliant working team culture that is professional yet fun.

As a person, you will be a positive, friendly personality that is articulate and likeable. You will set yourself high personal standards and have the confidence to handle inbound enquiries, understand client needs to provide appropriate supporting product literature and close inbound calls into business. Above all, you will want to be part of a thriving and dynamic company and willing to take on new responsibilities as required.

Whilst nearly all your customers speak terrific English, another language would be a benefit but is by no means a prerequisite.
