JOB TITLE: INTERNATIONAL SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

LOCATION: Stockport, Cheshire

SALARY: £22,000 - £25,000 basic - commission on sales of 5% which should result in OTE of 40-45k per annum.

LANGUAGES: Fluent French (additional language - German, Italian)

HOURS OF WORK: Mon - Fri 9am - 5.00pm office hours

Must be flexible due to international travel

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To sell the company design collection to mainly existing clients by either visiting the client personally or through the company’s web collections
  • Travelling mainly in the Continental countries (France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Sweden, Denmark) and the Far East, (China, Korea, Taiwan)
  • Attending some trade fairs within Europe
  • Responsible for nurturing existing Clients and developing new business in Europe and UK.
  • There will be minimal UK travel, time in the UK will be web sales and planning subsequent trips.
  • Must be able to plan your own trips and organise own appointments
  • Attend meetings with Senior Management
  • Forecasting own sales for the year with the assistance of the Company Accountant
  • Carry out any General administration related to this position and any other tasks required by senior management

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Must have at least 2 years relevant experience in sales
  • Must be able to travel overseas for 20 weeks of the year
  • Must have own car - mileage paid accordingly to company policy
  • Creative background is desirable but is not essential
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised
  • Must have enthusiasm and coupled with drive and determination
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have a creative mind and think outside the box
  • Must have attention to detail with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to build a rapport with clients on an on-going basis
  • Professional attitude
  • And have the ability to work to targets and tight deadlines
