About the job

We’re looking for a professional with strong customer service skills, international move management and supply chain management experience. You will be responsible for the professional coordination of the owner’s household goods shipment on a door to door basis, managing packing teams, freight forwarders, overseas partners, and 3rd party services. Your primary responsibility is to ensure first class service levels are delivered at each stage of the move process, achieving customer satisfaction, whilst managing the supplier performance and services attributed to each move. You will be directly aided by a team administrator, customer service manager and financial auditor, whilst working in a "High Performance" Winning team performing to both individual and team performance targets.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Good communication skills
  • Being well organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • Able and willing to work as part of a team
  • Ability to manage and control all costs related to a move
  • Adaptable, proactive and able to work within set time constraints
  • Must have at least 3 years’ move management experience including import, export and 3rd country moves

Main Duties:

  • Providing professional guidance to customers in respect to move planning, all documentation, transit schedules etc., in a timely manner
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, packing/delivery crews and overseas partners, to ensure all aspects of a move(packing, transport, delivery & transit schedules) are to the customer’s requirements & are performed smoothly
  • Being able to manage costs, ensuring sufficient profitability and protecting profit margin on each move
  • Being able to work to a high standard to ensure a successful move and happy client and therefore meeting all performance related targets
