International Business Development Manager

My client is an innovative technical manufacturing company in Yorkshire supplying solutions to the global market and they are looking to appoint an International Business Development Manager.

You will be responsible for:

*Devise and implement a sales & marketing plan for a specific market sector
*Maintain contact with existing and potential key accounts in the UK & Europe, visiting customers in Europe 5 days a month
*Identification of potential profitable market, product and customer opportunities
*Ability to develop long term customer loyalty by building strong multi-level relationships with customers over a longer typical sales cycle.
*Represent the company in identifying, evaluating and negotiating partnerships, alliances, in current and new business
*Point of contact for distributors and agents and direct customers
*Compile and analyse statistics pertinent to the company's business development program, report results to senior management, and adjust as appropriate

In order to apply you must have the following skills, experience:

*Commercial experience gained within a similar role.
*Demonstrable record of successful business development.
*Qualifications: Of Graduate calibre, ideally with an appropriate Technical or scientific background
*Export / Internal experience, with the ability to travel abroad between 4-5 days per month
