The international arbitration practice focuses on the resolution of complex, high-value international business disputes. We represent leading businesses in a variety of sectors including energy and natural resources, TMT, consumer, life sciences, automotive and projects and infrastructure.
The London team consists of ten partners. Four of these partners focus on construction and engineering disputes with the remaining six focussing on commercial arbitration, as well as public international law and investment treaty matters.
The department is very busy with a significant caseload and pipeline and is looking for dynamic team players to add to its growing practice.
Senior international arbitration lawyer with day-to-day responsibility for client relationship and matter management, a high degree of expertise in managing teams on significant arbitration cases.
Has a comprehensive working knowledge of international arbitration including the rules of leading institutions such as the LCIA and ICC.
Has project and client management responsibility on cases, playing a leading role in ensuring timely delivery to high quality standards.
Shows a good knowledge of legal developments in the field of international arbitration and is actively engaged in the broader arbitration community through attending relevant events and membership of arbitration organisations.
Has a track record of developing good working relationships with clients.
Has responsibility for actively managing international arbitration cases to ensure profitability, quality and strong client relationships.

They have an opening for a first rate International Arbitration lawyer with general/commercial international arbitration experience. Experience gained within a top tier firm is preferred. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level to senior associate with three to six years' post-qualification experience.
