The role - International Account Manager
Liaising with existing accounts and Supply Chain to manage and communicate forecast requirements.
Plan sales activities and customer contact
Monitor sales performance and conduct business reviews identifying buying trends relating to competitors
Facilitate the development of bottom line profitability and sustainable relationships
Work closely with the Marketing team to prepare relevant content/material
Attend a variety of exhibitions across Europe
Report and present data internally
You’ll be required to travel both within the UK and Europe involving overnight stays, international travel will typically be once a month, there will be some flexibility with regards to working from home.
A market leading global healthcare company with a strong footprint across North America & Europe, the business has a unique Supply Chain network meaning the business operates as a fast moving consumer goods organisation. Offering a wide range of OTC products which can be found at all leading pharmacies and leading pharmacy chains, wholesalers and retailers alongside prescription drugs.
Previous experience from within the pharmaceutical sector - ideally within prescription drugs however OTC experience will also be considering
Must have previously developed relationships across a variety of European countries and the UK
Strong business and commercial acumen alongside possessing the ability to influence and negotiate
Being customer focused is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to gain product/service improvements based on feedback
Polished communication and influencing skills
To be effective planning, organisation and time management skills are essential
