Internal Telephone Sales Person

Vacancy - Internal Sales Negotiator

Location - Chessington, Surrey area

Industry - Lighting and Electrical Distributor

Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (no weekends)

Salary - up to circa £32K + annual bonus

Rhodium Consulting are recruiting for an internal telephone sales person for this successful and long established lighting and electrical distributor.

The role will involve working in a small team of people dealing with pricing enquiries, technical queries and orders from electrical wholesale businesses.
Many customers choose to do business by telephoning the internal sales people who, with a combination of thorough product knowledge and top-class communication skills, are able to develop and satisfy the customers’ requirements quickly and efficiently.

There will be an element of both inbound and outbound sales calls.

Responsibilities will include:
Handling enquiries
Raising Quotations for customer orders
Customer terms
Progressing queries
Purchase orders
Proactive selling
Use of computer system including quotations, enquiries, picking notes, back orders
Ad hoc duties as required

Skills Required:
Polished communication skills (written and oral)
Computer literate (inc Microsoft Office)
Enjoys speaking to people on the phone
Coping with pressures and setback

Personal Qualities Required:
A hard working polite team player.
A self-motivated person who understands the importance of getting the job done and/or responding to the customer as promised

Efficient and effective
Should be punctual, well presented and like to operate in a clean and tidy manner.
Positive with a friendly "can do" attitude.
A good listener who is keen to learn, develop new skills and "get on" in the business.
Thoughtful and resourceful, someone who enjoys solving problems.

This role is ideal for someone with electrical wholesale sales experience with good lighting and electrical product knowledge.

You will have a good understanding of the electrical wholesale industry and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people.
