Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 [dependent on experience]

This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a well-established engineering company, with excellent company benefits, working environment and value to the team. Ideally the candidate will have previous sales order processing experience and ability to build working relationships with all customers.
-Take, receive and process sales orders through in-house system
-Manage existing relationships and develop sales with prospective customers
-Be proactive in addressing customer issues and respond to customer calls / emails
- Liaise with both suppliers and customers in a timely manner
-Answer simple technical questions regarding the products [training provided]
-Keeping record of activity up to date
-Occasional sales calls to cold clients and some stock room duties, such as packing and despatching sales orders
Skills / Experience:
-Excellent customer service and relationships building skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Previous experience within internal sales for an engineering firm [an advantage]
-Experience of sales order processing, CRM packages would be preferred, but training is provided.
-Strong and confident telephone manner
