Internal Sales

On behalf of our client, an international manufacturer of Safety Products, the Recruitment Fix Professional are Recruiting an Internal Sales Executive to join their expanding sales force. Working closely with the Field Sales Manager you will be supporting clients with product information, processing orders and cross selling where possible to ensure revenues are maximised.

Role & Responsibility:

Sales/Account Management:

  • Contact and qualify appropriate leads from e-mail enquiries, phone calls, exhibitions & customer
  • Pro-active contact of existing accounts & follow-ups
  • Follow up contacts for specific campaigns
  • Arrange appointments for external sales
  • Process site visit requests & confirmation of appointment setting on active
  • Arrange follow-up & negotiation visit for external reps
  • Update & amended appointment entries if customers change availability
  • Deal with incoming phone calls/enquiries when support are unavailable

Sales Enquiry Process:

  • Liaise with Support to confirm specification prior to creating quotation requests when
    information is un-clear
  • Send rates & generic product information to clients
  • Qualify enquiries & pro-actively convert to quotation requests
  • Request quote revisions & document request through CRM & other systems
  • Receipt & process if email, telephone & website enquiries into CRM
  • Site survey / fact find reports submitted & assigned for pricing
  • Request quote revisions & document request through CRM & other systems
  • UK re-seller enquiries processed

Quotation Issue & Follow-Up:

  • Issue quotations to customers & follow up with in collaboration with external sales
  • Liaise on questions & queries
  • Quotation follow up in line with Sales Forecast
  • Quotation revision request processed
  • Sales negotiation with clients to close business
  • Issue quotations in line with product & install availability
  • Liaise with Project Team on availability of installation slot
  • All Terms & Conditions confirmed with client, prior to processing an order


  • New Vendor Form process & passed to Accounts
  • Daily update of sales opportunities
  • All open opportunities processed before estimated close dates
  • Submit quote requests to customer support
  • Present quotes to customers in collaboration with external sales
  • Submit orders to customer support
  • Liaise with customers on order/delivery changes when updates are received from support
  • Ensure all activities are logged in CRM and other systems are updated as necessary

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Good standard of English and Maths
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Previous Sales experience desired but not essential
