Internal Sales Executive

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to join a market leading company who specialise in innovative drainage products and systems. The successful Internal Sales Executive will be based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and join the team, with a competitive salary plus company benefits. This is an exciting opportunity with the potential for progression into the designing and running of large schemes.

The company are well established in providing surface water drainage solutions to projects both nationally and internationally, and they pride themselves on a high level of consistency and quality while keeping in mind the environment. This is where they set themselves apart from competition, all products are manufactured from recycled plastic materials. This model has in turn positioned the company to have won multi-million-pound contacts, from the government, local authorities and private contractors and is consistently growing year on year. One of the many reasons they have successfully been in business for 18 years with a group annual turnover of 90 million.

The successful Internal Sales Executive will work alongside the External Sales team, Sales Admin and Designers in this busy sales office. The ideal candidate must have a real sense of pride in their work, with excellent communication skills and a “hands on” approach. Working closely with each department of the business, your day to day duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Responding to incoming queries via email and telephone
- Following up with live contacts to secure new orders
- Liaising with customers regarding deliveries and managing large call off orders
- Seeking out new business via various channels and converting to sales

To be considered for the role of Internal Sales Executive you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within construction /Civil engineering, but not essential. The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience: 

- Ability to work on own initiative
- Confident and tenacious in nature
- Honest and trustworthy
- Excellent communications skills
- Highly organised
- Self-motivated
