Internal Sales Executive

Our client is the leading specialist in the hydraulic attachment industry. They have over 40 years of experience in the field. Backed up with their team of highly skilled and helpful staff.

Position overview

To provide customer support in the Sales department generating new business from outbound calls and processing inbound calls. This is expected to be split 60% account management and 40% new business supporting a regional area monthly target.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have previous B2B telesales experience
  • Previous experience of CRM programme

  • Must be confident on the phone with the ability to handle a difficult customer if necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to build relationships with customers and potential customers
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office)
  • Must be highly motivated, focused and a strong team player
  • Must thrive on giving excellent customer services
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Must be a team player

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming sales/Hire enquiries by telephone/email and social media
  • Building strong customer relationships
  • Customer retention and development of key clients
  • Identifying new opportunities and creating brand awareness
  • Following up on quotes
  • Dealing with order processes, purchase orders, delivery and advice notes
  • Updating the company’s bespoke CRM system
  • Generate a minimum of 10 appointments per week for assigned Area Sales Manager
  • Updating Area Sales Manager by email and phone

Reports to Sales Manager

Hours Monday - Friday (8am-5.30pm half hour lunch)

Holiday 23 days plus bank holidays

Salary £23,000 Plus generous commission package

Probation Three months
