Our client is a market leading industrial service partner and manufacturer across Europe. They provide a range of MRO solutions including valves, gears and power transmission, fluid power, bearings, seals and rotating equipment across the UK and Europe. They have over 50 repair facilities across the UK and have a specialist process control and flow division to offer value added service to key customers. Due to continued growth and restructure they now look to add an Internal Sales Engineer to the existing sales & projects team in Glasgow.
As internal sales engineer you will be responsible for handling all existing accounts. Industries include all industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical, distilleries and food & beverage. You will be focusing on offering a technical solution, value added service and troubleshooting to all MRO and OEM process related customers such as water, food, pharmaceutical, aggregates, power among many more. A key part of this position will be to support business development managers and local regional sales staff. This role is critical in the development of the customer base across the UK and will be completely internally based with regular contact with sites and service centres throughout the country..
The successful sales engineer will ideally have valve or flow control product such as, actuators, pumps, instrumentation or a technical product sales experience. If you are from an external sales background you will have a track record in developing growth within the valves industry. Candidates from an internal sales, customer service, account manager or application engineer or projects expertise will be strongly considered. The internal sales engineer will be based in Glasgow therefore you must be commutable and live in the East Kilbride, Clydebank, Paisley and surrounding regions.
