Internal Sales Coordinator

£20,000 to £24,000 per annum DOE
This year, our client celebrates 28 years designing and manufacturing quality medical training products for healthcare professionals. The company headquarters is based in Bristol, England, with subsidiary offices in the USA, Australia and Sweden. Their products are also sold throughout the rest of the world using an expanding network of over 80 distributors. They have grown significantly in the last decade and has received a range of awards.
Working out of their office, the Internal Sales Co-Ordinator (ISC) works closely with the UK Sales Manager and Regional Account Managers to generate sales across all regions of the UK.
The primary responsibility of this position is to research, plan and execute sales campaigns on targeted products or within specific markets. The ISC will proactively contact both existing and prospective customers using a strategic and targeted approach and develop a good working relationship with key individuals within accounts.
The role holder is also responsible for assisting with customer inquiries, providing customer support on products and services, data analysis, managing internal Customer Relation Management system, generating reports and sales aids, supporting the Regional Account Managers with daily activity by booking appointments and diary planning.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level. You will have experience in a similar role in Customer Service or Sales (internal or external) and the ability to apply their knowledge and experience to a small company setting. Experience of working in a medical administration role would be an advantage.
You will have a good understanding or experience of working on tenders, general knowledge of territory, competition and marketplace and knowledge and experience of using a CRM, such as SalesForce.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with strong communication skills. You must also be an independent thinker with a strong work ethic.
A medical qualification or experience/understanding of the medical sector would be desirable. Knowledge of their product range would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
