Aptus Recruitment is working with a global organisation that specialises in accountancy software packages for professional services and organisation. They are a leader in their field with offices around the world and in the UK, offering ample progression opportunities and development for those on board. Right now, they have 2 vacancies for sales specialists within their accounting and tax department located in their offices in Exmouth.
About the role
This is full time, permanent opportunity for the right candidate. As an internal sales consultant you will be responsible for driving sales forward, bringing in new clients and generating revenue as part of sales team consisting of nearly 20 skilled sales executives. You will play a critical role in raising the awareness of their product offering to firms around the country and forging strong professional relationships along the way that will eventually result in repeat business.
Most of your leads will come a variety of sources including marketing campaigns, website enquires and the tele-appointing team. You will be expected to follow up on these leads as well as supplementing them with your own points of contact by taking the initiative to research the market.
To convert these sales, as the consultant, you will conduct webinars with clients, detailing the software and understanding their business requirements. This will give you the opportunity to have a fully consultative conversation with clients and demonstrate the full range of products to them.
* - Contacting prospects and generating own leads to discover new opportunities
* - Liaising with existing clients about current business and potentially upselling where appropriate
* - Conducting webinar demonstrations with prospects and clients on a weekly basis
* - Commercial awareness; regularly keeping your knowledge up to date regarding latest technological advances and industry news
We are looking to speak with talented sales candidates who have a proven, successful track record in a B2B environment who is looking for a new challenge. You will be the type of candidate who is not afraid to pick up the phone to make a cold call and likewise you will know exactly how to build strong, working relationships. As presentations and demonstrations are a critical aspect to the role, it will be vital you are skilled in doing this; rest assured you will be given the tools and resources from your company on those more complex demonstrations!
You will be a strong communicator, highly motivated and have the ability and tenacity to deliver targets. If you have experience selling within the accountancy marketplace and the territory, this will be a big benefit to your application. Likewise, if you have experience within software sales. However, this is not essential and other product areas from a B2B arena will be considered.
Salary & Benefits
On offer for the right candidates is a competitive salary of up to £26k basis with OTE anticipated to be around £23k on top.
