Internal Sales and UK Team Administrator

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 Based on Experience

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm

 Suggested daily planning: 

 Internal Sales Focus 8am - 3pm 

 Administration Focus 3pm - 5pm

 1 Hour Lunch Between 12pm - 2pm

Overview:

Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking an Internal Sales and UK Team Administrator on behalf of our client. Reporting to the Head of UK Commercial Sales and Operations, the ideal candidate will develop productive working connections with building merchants and mechanical and electrical contractors within a designated account list to market water treatment products. 

Also, working with the part-time Regional Account Manager the ideal candidate will contact both mechanical and electrical contractors for status updates on projects which they are working on and complete customer supplier forms when requested.

The Successful Internal Sales and UK Team Administrator Candidate will be Responsible for:
  • Assisting the UK team by monitoring and updating relevant projects and accounts within the CRM by adhering to corporate standards

  • Establishing productive working relationships with UK mechanical and electrical contractors and building supply companies by phone - discussing project builds from the tendering stage to shipping

  • Selling the clients services and delivering excellent customer service

  • Achieving set sales targets with the regional account manager

  • Attending corporate training sessions and meetings, listening/reading  to  any product material shared by the Technical Team, Specification Team, Commercial Team, or Servicing Team, and becoming familiar with the fundamental technical details of all the products the client offers

  • Demonstrating the client’s core values daily, being a key part of the clients mission statement and vision

  • Calling or emailing all clients for progress updates on the projects they are tendering for

  • Assisting the UK Sales team with administration support including supplier form completion



Key Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling, delivering and engaging in a professional manner with administration skills and also be/have; 

  • A results driven salesperson  

  • A team player

  • A good communicator - both written and verbal

  • Technical sales awareness

  • Confident telephone manner whilst enjoying speaking on the phone

  • Proficient in time management and planning

  • Customer focused, always putting the customer first  

  • Able to seek clarity to communicate facts and be able to prioritise workload  

  • Focused with a sense of sales urgency  

  • Attention to detail  

  • Approachable to customers and the team  

  • Friendly and like talking with others



The Ideal Candidate Must Have:  

  • An interest in the water treatment industry  

  • Administrator experience 

  • A positive work ethic 

  • A proven sales track record preferably in technical sales however not essential  



Benefits:  

£3,000 p.a. on target commission - Pro-rata

£3,000 end of year bonus for 100% achievement of company target – Pro-rata

28 days annual holiday, including bank holidays – Pro-rata 

Holiday entitlement increases after 5 years working within the company

Additional 2022 Christmas closure 26th December - 3rd January 

Life assurance: 3 x base salary
