Internal Recruitment Manager

Our South East London based client, a well know name in their field and a market leader in the area they cover are seeking an Internal Recruitment Manager to take charge of the team and ensure continued success as they continue to grow.

What does the role look like?

As the Internal Recruitment Manager you will be in charge of a team of 6 made up of 4 talent partners, as well as an apprentice and an Administrator. Your job will be to set the recruitment strategy for the team, motivating a well-established and performing team to strive for excellence. The company are looking to recruit in the next 12 months just on the engineering side 165 staff so you will need to look at succession planning, working with managers to ensure staffing requests are known in advance to make sure there are no skills gaps within the company, or staff shortages which could affect the performance and profitability of the company. You will also be hands on recruiting with one of the talent partners the office staff for the business across a variety of different functions, on top of looking after the team. You will continue to improve on current talent acquisition strategies and methods including attending career fairs, analyse performance and report to senior managers as well as keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation.

What skills will you have?

To become the Internal Recruitment Manager you will be well polished, well presented, possessing motivation, drive and a passion for success which you can successfully transfer in to your team too. You will understand Kpi setting for an internal team and how to ensure the team hit and exceed expectations on a regular basis, as well as having this skillset within your working experience. You will be friendly, approachable, enthusiastic and hardworking, staying late when needed to ensure tight deadlines are met for large scale recruitment campaigns and will be looking for longevity in your next career move.
