Due to exciting team expansion, DS Smith in Caerphilly has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Specialist to join the Recruitment team based at the Shared Service Centre. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager you will be expected to work to a very high standard with existing processes and procedures to source suitable candidates for a variety or business areas.
You will be required to work closely with a Recruitment Partner to effectively fill vacant positions within a given geographical area of the UK. You will be expected to fully engage and drive the group recruitment strategy of direct sourcing through a variety of channels. Experience of creating Job adverts, Boolean searching and sourcing though professional/ social media and CV databases, are essential.
Your main focus will be to generate a candidate pool by monitoring applications through the ATS, shortlisting candidates after carrying out detailed telephone screens and presenting the candidates to the Recruitment Partner. Acting as the first point of contact for applicant/candidate enquiries you will thoroughly prepare candidates for the selection process. You will also be required to generate talent pipelines maximising the use of own professional network.
On occasions it will be necessary to work effectively with 3rd party suppliers and maintain relationships with key suppliers.

A proven track record of performing at a high level in a busy sourcing role (Internal or External recruiter) is essential
Confidence in advertising opportunities though a range of mediums
Computer literate, with a strong grasp of Microsoft Office products

Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 pro rata(+ up to 5% annual bonus)
