Overview of the Internal Recruiter:

The Internal Recruiter will deliver a full end to end proactive recruitment service by managing key recruitment activities through the hiring cycle, i.e. from taking detailed vacancy briefings and directly sourcing candidates, through to offer management, for permanent hiring (with the exception of executive appointments).

The Internal Recruiter will also be responsible for both championing and delivery in the Internal Talent function - so we are looking for an individual that can not only deliver against current company hiring needs but also look to continuously improve and enhance the experience of both hiring managers and candidates alike.

Duties of the Internal Recruiter:

Being a true Subject Matter Expert within the business to help identify the best candidates in the active and passive market. This will include engaging with the business and wider networks, and analysing competitor insights and industry trends to develop deep specialist knowledge.

Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and implementing strategies and initiatives to ensure all touch points in the recruitment process contribute to this experience, and all candidates, irrespective of outcome, derive a benefit from applying for a job within the company.

Delivering an efficient and professional hiring manager experience to enable the business to make great hiring decisions and ultimately achieve its business ambitions; including supporting and guiding hiring managers through the end-to-end recruitment process, and gaining a real understanding of the requirements for each vacancy.

Directly sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines through multiple innovative attraction strategies to ensure the continued flow of exceptional talent and to minimise the use of agencies/search firms.

Assessing and screening candidates to an agreed standard to ensure that all candidates put forward to hiring managers have objectively met all the necessary skills and abilities to perform the role.

Actively promote Diversity & Inclusion to become part of our clients everyday conversations, championing the Best Team toolkit and diversity of thought. 

Negotiating all offers of employment, fully explaining the total compensation package and benefits to candidates and explaining how the on-boarding experience will work.

Whats in your DNA?

Full Internal Recruitment life-cycle experience gained from within a fast-paced, customer focused in-house, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) or agency environment (A candidate that has both external and internal recruitment experience would be at an advantage to others)

Previous experience of recruiting within the Commercial, Business Change, Project arena is an advantage to this role

Experience of, and a passion for, creating and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience

Direct sourcing experience through multiple attraction channels – you will know how to get to candidates where our clients competition cannot

Experience of championing Diversity and Inclusion across all pillars of difference

Knowledge of how to act as a brand ambassador by actively promoting and representing a brand and telling its story through social media, networking and event

Up to date knowledge of UK employment law, recruitment related risks, controls and regulation

A brilliant communicator and relationship builder

Excellent influencing and negotiating skill

Ability to present, interpret and explain information accurately, clearly and in an appropriate way

A proactive approach, thinking ahead to pre-empt potential problem

Ability to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables at any one time
