Internal Recruiter (12 Month Maternity Cover)

Your Role

As Services Recruiter, you will focus on attracting and securing talent into a number of key functions such as Services (Managed Services, Professional Services & Support Functions) Internal IT, Systems Development and Office of the CTO. You will work with the wider people team and hiring managers to deliver against recruitment objectives, ensuring the business meets its strategic and growth objectives

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process for the appropriate business units which will include directly sourcing candidates, conducting telephone Interviews, presenting candidates to managers, face to face interviewing and negotiating offers to candidates from graduate to senior level
  • Keep up to date with plans and objectives of the business to make sure you are meeting recruitment requirements by liaising with stakeholders. Proactively build & manage talent pools for challenging roles and areas of growth
  • Liaise with marketing and external content agencies to produce recruitment advertising content for social media & career fairs. Collaborate with the wider recruitment team to ensure a cohesive tone and message across all recruitment areas
  • Strong stakeholder liaison experience and comfortable working with hiring managers across your business areas. Adept at building at strong working relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to hiring managers on recruitment matters
  • Build excellent relationships with candidates from apprentice level to senior appointments and ensure a positive candidate experience. Ensure best practice in candidate management by proper utilisation of the Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite)
  • Manage the relationship between Softcat and the recruitment agencies to meet the hiring needs, driving improvements where needed and identify new agencies where required
  • Develop an understanding of the industry, technologies and candidate landscape to inform recruitment decisions and add value to the recruitment process, proposing solutions to recruitment challenges. Keep up to date on recruitment legislation and best practice
  • Manage headcount tracking for the relevant business units against the recruitment budget, making sure the team is kept up to date with any amendments made
  • Supporting the Recruitment Manager, senior hiring managers and HR Business Partner with recruitment strategy, ensuring this suits the overall business requirements
