Due to continued expansion, our client, an employee-owned company, a market leading UK manufacturer based in South Leeds, has an opening for an Internal Business Development person to strengthen their Internal Sales team. The purpose of the role is to make outbound calls to general leads and appointments for the field-based Sales Engineers
You will work closely with a field based Sales Engineer and be responsible for making qualified appointments. Calls will be from an existing CRM but you will also research for new leads as well as looking for new contacts and projects within existing clients. Ideally you will have the ability to communicate intelligently at every level, possess a good command of English, both written and spoken and you will pride yourself on your excellent customer service. This is an interesting rewarding role working for a company who put their employees first.
A comprehensive telephone, database & sales training will be provided so experience within the door manufacturing sector is not essential.
The company offer a starting salary of £18-20K. There is an annual bonus based on company performance. Other benefits include 24 days holiday plus your birthday plus bank holidays, excellent working conditions as well as a non-contributory pension scheme.
