Overview:

We are looking for an ambitious, results driven Internal Business Development Manager to be responsible for all sales activities linked to prospect vendor database.

The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales targets and exceed client’s expectations. Primarily you will focus on lead generation and appointment booking through outbound calls with a view to progressing to be able to run a deal through to close and all of the administration work that is involved.You will need to develop a strong working relationship with the vendors to ensure a high level of service for them and their customers. For this you will work alongside our Sales Support Managers.To build the vendor database you will also need to book appointments for our Managing Director and co-ordinate his diary with our prospect vendors

Requirements:

• 2 years B2B sales experience?

• Excellent communication skills

• Impeccable telephone manner

• Ability to shine as an individual or as a team player

• Structured sales approach

• Strong objection handling skills

This role is an entry level position and will ideally suit a person with ambition and drive. The natural progression for the suitable candidate will be to move into an External Business Development Manager role working alongside the Managing Director to be a key account manager and be involved in face to face meetings with the vendors. You would also be involved in the development of an internal role to take over the appointment booking and supporting the external role. This progression will be fast tracked for the suitable candidate who demonstrates the correct work ethic, attitude to learning and development, and the ability to hit their targets and earn uncapped commission.
