Internal Business Development Manager
Our Client who are based in Amersham, Bucks, are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Internal Business Development Manager to be responsible for all sales activities linked to their existing and prospect vendor database.
The successful Internal Business Development Manager candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales targets and exceed client’s expectations. Primarily you will focus on lead generation and appointment booking through outbound calls with a view to progressing to be able to run a deal through to close and all the administration work that is involved.
The Internal Business Development Manager will need to develop a strong working relationship with our clients existing vendors to ensure a high level of service for them and their customers. For this you will work alongside the Sales Support Manager. To build the vendor database you will also need to book appointments for the Managing Director and co-ordinate his diary with prospect vendors.

Internal Business Development Manager Requirements:
- 2 years B2B leasing sales experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Impeccable telephone manner
- Ability to shine as an individual or as a team player
- Structured sales approach
- Strong objection handling skills
This role is an entry level position with our client and will ideally suit a person with ambition and drive.
The natural progression for the Internal Business Development Manager will be to move into an External Business Development Manager role working alongside the Managing Director to be a key account manager and be involved in face to face meetings with the vendors.
You would also be involved in the development of an Internal Sales Support role to take over the appointment booking and supporting the external role. This progression will be fast-tracked for the suitable candidate who demonstrates the correct work ethic, attitude to learning and development, and the ability to hit their targets.
Salary - £24,000 per annum with OTE of £30,000 (uncapped commission)
Hours - Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5:30pm
Benefits - 20 days’ annual holiday with an additional day for every year worked up to 5 years. Company pension
