Senior Internal Auditor
My client is a Local Authority in the East Midlands who are looking to appoint a talented Strategic Finance Business Partner on a Contract basis
What's on offer:
- Salary: £250 - £300 per day, inside IR35.
*negotiable based on experience

- Contract type: Contract (37hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
About the role:
Based in Cambridgeshire (Hybrid):
- To support the Head of Shared Internal Audit in delivering an effective Internal Audit function covering areas
- To complete a range of audits, including risk-based audits and key financial systems reviews, as set out in the annual Audit Plan approved by the relevant Audit Committee.
- To prepare reports on the effectiveness of controls in mitigating risks and compliance with relevant legislation, Council policies and procedures.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Fully qualified CCAB (or MIIA) or Part qualified CCAB (or MIIA)
- Knowledge and understanding of Risk Based Internal Auditing
- Demonstrate an awareness of the current issues affecting Internal Audit in local government and the public sector.
