Internal Auditor - Manufacturing

Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor based in Southend-On-Sea. Our client is a leading International Manufacturer and one of the most recognised brands in the local area.

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all Internal Controls and Systems are maintained continuously implemented in a robust and effective manner.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Planning and Executing Internal Audit Schedules in line with agreed compliances
  • Updating records and documentation for agreed audits
  • Working closely with internal staff across various departments to complete scheduled audits
  • Maintain working knowledge and levels of ISO9001 & ISO13485 standards
  • Escalate actions to ensure they are closed with agreed timescales
  • Advise individual profit centres on audit techniques and compliances
  • Maintenance of CAPA register
  • Providing analysis and commentaries on audit data for purposes to assist with future schedules

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Quality Control or Regulatory Affairs role in a largescale manufacturing environment. Candidates with lead auditor qualifications in ISO9001 and ISO13485 are essential.

You must be able to display the ability to challenge and question existing controls and practices in order to drive the implementation of best working practice across the organisation.
