Are you an Internal Accountant / Financial Controller / Practice Management Accountant that is looking to work internally for a growing and entrepreneurial accountancy firm based in Zone 3 North London? Are you also keen to carry out a role with a high element of performance analysis and advisory work to help the Partners continue to grow the practice? Would you like to work in a high profile and newly created position, where you will work in a sole charge role and work directly with the partners of this growing accountancy group? In this new role (February 2018) you will be responsible for: reporting to the Senior Partner, producing monthly management accounts, various management reports, general bookkeeping, cashflows, budgets, variance analysis, credit control, quarterly bank reports, VAT returns and any other ad hoc assignments as required. There will also be a large advisory element to the role, including advising partners on the areas of the business that are doing well, which areas can be improved and making various other strategic decisions. Your role will be varied and challenging and as the practice grows you will assume more responsibility and be able to build a team around you.
To be considered for this interesting position you will either be a qualified ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience. You must ideally be working as an Internal accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Practice Management Accountant within an accountancy firm or a professional practice firm (including law firms, surveyors, architects etc). You must have experience of the above duties, and now be looking to work for a dynamic and entrepreneurial practice where you will carry out a large element of performance analysis and giving recommendations to the partners. You must work to high standards, be able to meet tight deadlines, and be a team player. Experience of a range of software packages, including sage, would be an advantage.
