Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as an Internal Account Manager, based in our Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, office. We are offering a salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 plus bonus potential and an excellent benefits package.

We have invested over £500,000 over the last 12 months to build a 'winning' Internal Sales team to work from our newly refurbished and dedicated office in Potters Bar selling products and services for all of the Schneider UK business units, including Energy & Sustainability, Industrial Automation, Electrical Installation, Building management systems & our IT and Data Centre business.

Right now we have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our new Internal Sales team as an Internal Account Manager.  We are looking for driven, ambitious individuals who want to develop a career in sales with a market leading organisation.  At Schneider Electric we have a well-defined growth strategy and a breadth of products, solutions and services that are unrivalled in our markets. 

In this role you would drive growth across a defined portfolio of accounts by selling Schneider Electric’s products and services to your customers over the phone. We offer excellent sales and product training as well as ongoing coaching/mentoring to give you the confidence you need when speaking with your customers. 

It is key that you build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and within your customer base to drive growth.  You will need to understand a complex portfolio of customers and assess the opportunities for a large business with multiple product offerings. Intellect, tenacity and pragmatism are a must to succeed in this role.  The role will involve Identifying and winning high value opportunities whilst leveraging the support of external sales and the business units to negotiate and close complex sales opportunities.    


The ideal candidate would possess strong analytical, communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills as well as strong computer literacy across Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Sales experience in a B2B environment, either face to face or over the phone is desirable. The role suits someone who is hungry, ambitious, exceptionally self-aware and keen to develop.
