Internal Account Manager

The Internal Account Manager will be responsible for supporting dedicated customers on D2D business to increase revenue to a selected account base; this will involve day to day contact with all selected accounts and will require the active management of virtual teams comprising a number of technical, commercial and admin roles. Key target is ensuring customer satisfaction and improve level of accuracy of daily interaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

- To ensure achievement of high level incremental revenue target from existing contracts

- To act as the commercial owner for all orders of small scale projects and change requests to maximize revenue

- Responsible for coordinating the resources required within the virtual team needed to support the client base

- Ensure that the contract with the customer is being adhered to correctly and that all opportunities to bill are fulfilled

- Be a key point of escalation for customer commercial queries

- To become a 'center of excellence’ regarding key admin tasks, especially Oracle & Remedy

- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with internal processes

- Distribute knowledge in a positive fashion to the rest of the Account Management Team

- Processing of all new client orders

- Oversee dedicated Client sales operations

- Ensuring Moves Add and Change are delivered and invoiced on time.

Skills and experience

- Confident and tenacious individual who understands the importance of ownership and fulfilling their responsibilities

- Strong drive, persistent and resilient, able to manage customer issues through to a successful conclusion

- Account Management Experience

- Previous Telecoms Experience

- Able to withstand significant business pressures while still maintaining effective performance and working relationships

- Possess negotiating and influencing skills

- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, written and verbal to both internal and external customers

- Possess organizational skills

- Able to think laterally to derive solutions to unforeseen issues

- Possess the numerate and literacy skills required to effectively maintain project documentation

- An awareness of the principles of Wide Area Networking (WAN) networks

- Has basic technical knowledge and understanding of Wide Area Networking (WAN) particularly solutions with Cisco Router

- Able to learn new technologies

- Demonstrable career achievement


Degree: FH (Fachhochschule) or University or apprenticeship

Additional Requirements

Fluent in English/German language.
