Internal Account Manager, Engineering, Banbury. £24,000 Basic, £28,000 OTE (uncapped). This is a varied sales and marketing role for a manufacturer of technical products sold to engineers. Clients range from two-person firms to multinational conglomerates and everything in-between.
As an Internal Account Manager, your role will be to maintain in contact with clients, introducing new products and services and nurturing the business relationship.
To succeed, you will be highly driven and motivated by both success and the potential to earn. As a person, you will be resilient, articulate and highly approachable. The role is autonomous and will lead into Field Sales, if desired, within two years.
To succeed you will be a rare individual that is an efficient, organised professional yet is a strong enough character to be assertive when the need arises. The role requires previous sales experience and requires an individual that is a 'sponge for information' who can quickly understand the needs and requirements of potential clients. The ideal candidate will have B2B sales experience.
The role is based from Banbury and is predominantly handling incoming leads and qualifying, supporting and nurturing them to commit to meet with one of the field-based business development managers.
