This award-winning luxury Interior Design Practice was established out of a strong passion for design, architecture and style. Due to an increase in projects they are seeking an Interior Designer with experience of high-end residential interiors and UK Suppliers to work alongside their design team. You will be creating and delivering luxury projects, overseeing the implementation of schemes and providing clients with a turn-key solution.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Managing assigned projects from concept through to completion
  • Understanding clients' needs and the needs of the people using the building
  • Considering materials and costs according to set budgets
  • Researching and producing 'sample' or 'mood' boards for presentation to clients
  • Sourcing products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing
  • Assisting in the preparing of detailed working drawings, designs, plans, schemes, sometimes using CAD
  • Preparation and checking of tender pack
  • Assisting with required third party approvals & consents
  • Overseeing work at the project coordination stage and on site

Person / Experience Required:

  • At least 4 years' experience in the UK market
  • Creative with a flair for FF&E
  • Good AutoCAD and InDesign skills
  • Good drawing skills, including perspective drawing and spatial awareness
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • An awareness of building and safety regulations
  • Project management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Good negotiating and time management skills
