Interim Senior Category Manager

Our client, an Insurance business is seeking to recruit an Interim Senior Category Manager to support and the procurement function in London for an initial 6 months.

You will lead the Global Procurement of Professional Services, with a particular focus on HR and L&D, having responsibility for the ongoing development.


  • Maximising value through the end-to-end commercial management of key suppliers and associated 3rd party spend
  • Identification and delivery of savings
  • Managing suppliers within the category to achieve contracted levels of performance and benefit deliver
  • Deep category knowledge within Professional Services
  • Demonstrable experience of driving internal change and managing/ influencing challenging stakeholders
  • CIPS qualified
  • Developing and negotiating complex agreements
  • Financial Services background
