The Company

Our client is a market leading specialist providing business critical services that support the IT infrastructure of some of the UKs largest companies. They are looking to appoint an experienced interim Procurement & Contract Manager to cover a busy period in the group.

The Role

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders at Board level and suppliers, this role will oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance
  • Lead the day-to-day contract and procurement management of key IT and technology service providers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and agreements
  • Take ownership of supplier procurement and commercial management across the IT
  • Provide strategic guidance on contract terms and conditions to improve business outcomes

The Candidate

  • Proven experience in contract management in the IT or technology sector
  • Strong supplier negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and conscientious mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proven experience in procurement and contract management, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
