Interim Management Accountant - 6m contract
My client is an established, well-respected organisation operating in a rapidly developing, ever-changing sector.
Following a reorganisation, the business is now looking to appoint an Interim Management Accountant to take full responsibility for one of its operational locations.
You will work closely with the regionally based senior management team and will provide financial support and guidance in all aspects of the operation.
You will have responsibility for all P&L matters, regular monthly reporting and business partnering.
Key attributes will include: will include:
experience and an understanding of reporting / forecasting shift costs, allocation of hours to jobs etc;
Experience of stock management;
Able to get on and work independently under their own initiative, to identify areas requiring attention. Able to structure the solution and work methodically to sort it out.
Ideally, experienced in being able to understand / forecast/report long-term contracts and able to identify how to mitigate costs within the detail of the contract.
You will be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience of operating at Divisional level and in a manufacturing/long term contracting environment.
The role is initially offered on a contract basis with the possibility of something longer term.
