Interim Income Recovery Officer

Location: Wiltshire

Length: 3 months +

Hours: 37 per week

Start: WC 19/02/18

Venn Group's South West Social Housing team are recruiting for an accomplished Interim Income Recovery Officer to join their clients established team on a 3 month contract basis in the first instance (with a potential for extension.)

Daily duties will include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of arrears management for a patch of 700 urban and rural properties
  • Chasing arrears by e-mail, letter, phone and home visits
  • Dealing with cases at all levels
  • Escalating cases for enforcement action, undertaking court applications online using PCOL and representing the organisation at court
  • Dealing with Universal Credit clients and aiding with their payments
  • Conducting pre-tenancy affordability assessments
  • Resolving complaints and queries from tenants

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrable recent experience in a specialist arrears management role in a social housing setting
  • Experience of using PCOL for escalation of cases
  • Court representation experience
  • A current enhanced DBS/CRB
  • Driver with own car
