Your new company
My client are a global logistics business with a number high profile contracts in Staffordshire. They are now looking for an experienced HR Advisor to joint their team to cover a period of maternity leave for between 6-9 months based at their site in Stoke on Trent.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will oversee the HR Department whilst overseeing all day to day HR activities and being the lead person for this. You will provide HR support and guidance, as per legal requirements and Company policy, while applying best practice and ensuring all employee administration requirements are carried out in line with policies, practices and procedures.
When the HR Manager is away from the site (or on annual leave) you'll be the go-to person for this fantastic site, this means you'll need to to be happy with working in a fast-paced environment and ready to take on any challenges that may be thrown your way.
What you'll need to succeed
To exceed in this role you will hold a CIPD qualification or at least working towards it, whilst having strong experience of working in an HR generalist role. To play a valued part you will have the ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels whilst having the ability to demonstrate analysis, critical thinking and hold high levels of influencing and interpersonal skills.
What you'll get in return
The role attracts a salary of c£28,000-£30,000 plus an excellent benefits package and an immediate start available.
