A privately owned group of businesses within the service sector are looking to appoint an Interim Financial Controller to support throughout a period of change and internal restructure. This business is highly acquisitive and have experienced impressive results following rapid expansion over recent years. The initial requirement will be on a temporary basis, however there is strong likelihood of a longer term or permanent requirement for the successful individual.
Your role in your new job
Receiving appropriate guidance from the Finance Director, you will oversee the daily operation of the finance function, managing a small team and remaining hands on in the production of management accounts and necessary reports. You will take ownership of cash flow forecasting for the business and support with ad hoc projects relating to new business opportunities and growth plans. You will also be required to work across departments to advise on key financial findings and recommend areas for process enhancement.
Your experience and our requirements
Ideally, you will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and be experienced in a similar level role. You will have a versatile working approach with the ability to quickly adapt within a fast-paced and forward thinking finance environment. Strong IT skills are essential including MS Excel and staff management/supervisory experience is hugely desirable.
