My client is a local government organisation based in Devon who is looking for some support for a period of 3 -6 months.

The role will primarily be focused around the year end accounts and you will be required to support the financial accounting team during this busy period and also provide financial advice to the wider organisation to ensure year end runs smoothly

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparations of budgets
  • Budget monitoring
  • Production of final accounts
  • Financial advise and support

You should be a qualified account and confident in the year end process and systems, in particular excel

Flexible working arrangements can be organised for the right candidate

Prior experience of working in the public sector in a large and complex organisation is advantageous
