Due to succession planning, this Secondary Academy, part of a small MAT, requires a highly competent Finance Manager to take the lead in managing the budgets and financial administration for the school. Reporting to the Principal and Trust Finance Director, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership team, providing the lead on all management and financial information.

Responsibilities will include working with the Academy in monitoring and reporting of budgets, preparation of annual accounts and liaising with external auditors on queries and recommendations. You will also oversee payroll and contract administration.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in running the finance function for a secondary or large primary academy. You must possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills. A good working knowledge of Civica is essential for this role as no training will be provided and you will be expected to hit the ground running.
