A local authority in Berkshire is currently recruiting for a finance business partner to join their existing finance team during a period of change on an interim basis (3 - 6 months). Based a short train journey away from London and offering pay of up to £450 per day this is a perfect opportunity for those looking for a new challenge. 

The finance business partner will work closely with the social services division, delivering a high quality finance function, providing financial advice, contribute to the production and provide interpretation of the monthly budget monitoring information. The business partner will be an expert in managing stakeholders and dealing with non-finance colleagues as well as working well in a multi-disciplinary team. 

The ideal candidate will be a CCAB qualified accountant with a flair for building relationships and managing expectations. You should have a strong background in local authority finance and have previous experience within a social services setting. Ideally, you will be available on short notice and be ready to hit the ground running. 

All rates given are in scope of IR35 and shortlisted candidates will be contacted ASAP.
