We have an immediate requirement for a Finance Assistant to join out client on a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. Working in a Finance team of 5 the Finance Assistant will be an integral member of this busy department.
- Sage 50 (experience on both sales & purchase side ideally)
- Experience processing expenses/credit cards, with correct VAT application with minimal supervision
- You will be advanced in Excel including pivot tables and vlookups
- Excellent at reconciling data from multiple sources with minimal help
- Experience (& understanding) compiling month end accounts / report packs
- Hands on approach willing to be involved in all aspects of the Finance department from management accounts to filing.
- Cashbook management / reconciliation
- Journal entry & reconciliation
The ideal candidate will have excellent VAT knowledge, be experienced in SQL queries for creating adhoc reporting and management budgets. You will be advanced in Excel.
