CMA is proudly partnering with a well-known Southampton employer to recruit a Finance Administrator for a 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role will report into the Head of Finance and will be based in Romsey.

This post is offered on a part-time basis of 22.5 hours a week across 4 or 5 days.

What will the role involve?

  • Purchase ledger;
  • BACS payment run weekly;
  • Query resolution;
  • Updating budgets;
  • Raising sales invoices;
  • Petty cash;
  • Assisting with reconciliation of the billing and general ledger;
  • Adhoc duties as required by the team.

Suitable candidate:

  • Good knowledge of double entry bookkeeping;
  • AAT or qualified by experience;
  • Team player;
  • Experience in the public or education sector would be advantageous;
  • Strong communicator.
