Your new company
As an Interim Deputy Manager you will assist in the running of a large supported living service based in Emsworth. The temporary contract is expected to last 6 months and you will also have the chance to be considered for a permanent position.
Your new role
As Interim Deputy Manager you will work in a supported living service with residents who have a variety of needs including learning disabilities, autism, dementia and sight impairment. You will report to the home manager and assist in leading the team and supporting the manager in the daily running of the home. You will liaise with social work teams, families and other key stakeholders to provide the best possible care packages and plans for residents.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked in a learning disabilities environment previously and hold experience working at a care deputy level. We will also consider a strong team leader/senior support worker who is ready to take the next step. You will have great communication skills and be flexible and organised in your approach to work.
