Role: Interim Category Manager

Rate: £375 - £400 per day

Location: Kent

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Interim Category Manager on a 3 month initial contract for a small sized procurement team based in Kent.

The Role:

• Develop innovative procurement approaches and market analysis
• Take ownership on a range of commercial projects, working across multiple category areas
• Work with customers to develop requirements; putting together tender packs/ evaluating tender processes
• Ensure that all procurement and contract management activity is undertaken in accordance with agreed corporate procurement processes
• Conduct data and spend analysis
• Utilising frameworks
• Liaise with senior stakeholders on a regular basis

The Person:

• Extensive experience within Public Sector procurement
• Category experience across Construction (JCT Contracts) would be advantageous
