The Interim Business Development Consultant positon will focus in developing new business with a range of blue chip and mid cap business in London. You will be opening door to help sell consultancy services and manging the client journey
My client is a Consultancy who focus on developing long term strategic change for their clients. They have a key focus on the quality of delivery and take pride on the approach they take. Being a fully independent consultant y allows them to help their client from a non-objective viewpoint and deliver the services that are needed, when they are needed.
The role of an Interim Business Development Consultant will be to help lead the acquisition of new clients by proactively going to market and delivering the businesses proposition. You will be required develop specific industry sectors and work on developing existing success and fostering new business with similar firms.
Initially you will be required to focus purely on opening new doors, taking on briefs and passing it up to consultants and partners. As your business knowledge improves there is scope to expand to managing account and client progress as well as assist with client meetings and pitches.
The successful Interim Business Development Consultant will have the following:
Previous background of business development/Sales within a professional services environment
Justifiable result and evidence of success with large scales client
Knowledge on the professional service sector, ideally consultancy.
Able to commit long term to an interim position, at least 9 months
Evidence of effective internal stakeholder management
Ability to use a range of CRM systems and learn new ones quickly
Highly illiterate and switched on and comes across in a professional manner

Day rate of £170 - £215
