A fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to go into management accounting for a growing organisation who are based in London. This role will be on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of it going permanent for the right candidate.

The Interim Assistant Management Accountant will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
*Provide vital support to the Senior Accountant in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts.
*Play a key role in the production of the annual budget and analysis any potential variances there may be.
*Provide invaluable assistance to the Senior Accountant during meeting with senior budget holders to go over the budgets and any potential variances.
*Have full involvement in the production of the monthly management accounts, producing important commentaries and analysis for multiple areas of the organisation.
*Taking the lead in the posting of prepayments, accruals and other key month-end journals.

This is an extremely varied role that offers the fantastic opportunity for candidates to further increase their financial knowledge, growing and furthering their career significantly.

The successful candidate will:
*Be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.) studying towards completing their qualifications.
*Have experience of working in a similar accountancy-based role.
*Be excellent communicators, as the ability to discuss financial matters with non-financial members of staff will be vital in this role.
*Have an intermediate Microsoft Excel ability (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
